Manager Outcomes & Evaluation
Position Description:
Under the supervision of the Director, Outcomes and Evaluation, maintains agency-wide outcomes data collection, protocols, and standards; insures integrity of agency-wide clinical outcomes databases; and coordinates agency-wide clinical data analysis.  Manages the Outcomes and Evaluation staff.  Oversees data collection, data entry, and performs data analysis.  Provides technical assistance and support to agency programs in order to meet their needs to design and implement outcome and quality improvement studies.  Trains and supports staff on the administration, application and clinical utility of outcome measures for clinical staff.
Qualifications:
A combination of education and experience equivalent to a Master of Arts or Science (M.A./M.S) in Behavioral or Social Science, Master of Science (M.S.) in Statistical Analysis or Mathematics, or related field. Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in clinical and/or research evaluation and data analysis.

Clinician
Position Description:
Working within the vision, mission and philosophy of the agency, and under the general supervision of the Clinical Program Manager, the incumbent is responsible for providing comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, risk assessment, clinical interventions, case management, coordination of therapeutic activities in the community. Documentation and maintenance of clinical records is completed per appropriate standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in MFT, Social Work, Marriage Family Counselor, Clinical Psychology, or a closely related field. Current enrollment or licensing of LLSW and/or LMFCC. One (1) year of supervised clinical experience with children. Licensed according to California state law (Welfare and Institutions Code section 5600.2) or become licensed within the designated time frame. Two (2) to three (3) years of clinical experience with children preferred. Preferred training in domestic violence, physical/sexual child abuse, and suicidal trauma with the competency to maintain current knowledge related to state, county, and local law. Self-defense training to react/respond to harmful and violent physical situations preferred. Preferred knowledge of local county rules and regulations from the Department of Social Services or related division. Experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities with culturally diverse populations preferred. Bilingual communication skills in another language preferred (i.e. Spanish and Vietnamese).

Facilitator
Position Description:
The Facilitator I is responsible for developing and coordinating family-centered teams to meet the individualized needs of children and families. This position is responsible for the development of an integrated plan and leadership to ensure implementation of services and supports to the child and their family/caregiver that is responsive to concerns and builds on strengths. Provides facilitation, assessment, and case management services including all related documentation for services planned and provided. The position provides an advanced level of facilitation to support and enhance the efforts of children and their families/caregivers, the system workers, which are part of the support team, and other individuals in a variety of environments. This position works independently in the family’s home and a variety of community and/or treatment settings. This position works directly with children and adults.
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree, particularly Master of Arts (M.A.) in a related field and experience-serving individuals with complex needs including SED youth/families and/or youth residential settings .Experience with the mental health, child welfare and/or juvenile probation systems.
Availability to participate in 24-hour on-call program. MHRS and licensure eligibility preferred. Speak, read, and/or write another language fluently is highly desirable.

Family Partner
Position Description:
First, the Family Partner provides peer support to parents served by the program and assists them to successfully engage with the wraparound process and staff. In general, peer support is defined as using personal and professional life experiences to establish credibility and infuse hope for a better future, to demonstrate unconditional acceptance, and to assist with problem solving. Secondly, the Family Partner serves as a “values speaker”, specifically, but not limited to providing a parent’s perspective in the routine operations and development of the program. In this role, the Family Partner uses personal and professional life experience to provide consultation and training for staff and others to increase awareness and improve the effectiveness of parent-professional partnerships to meet the needs of families, and to participate in program and community meetings to maximize parent voice, choice, and involvement throughout the service delivery process.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required. Up to three (3) months of experience. Be able to articulate the experience and perspective of a parent/caregiver or relative of a child with complex needs involving mental health, child protective, or probation services. This ability is typically acquired as the primary caregiver of a child with complex needs.

Family Specialist (Part Time and Full Time positions)

This position works independently in the family’s home and a variety of community and/or treatment settings. This position works directly with children and adults.
Qualifications:

Milieu Activity Therapist (On-Call, Part Time and Full Time positions)
Position Description:
Under close supervision, the incumbent is responsible for providing a therapeutic, healthy, and safe environment for the children and families at EMQ.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. TCI training. TIER/Work/Outlook proficiency California Department of Motor Vehicle: Certified Driver’s training. Understanding of and ability to utilize variety of therapeutic interventions when clients are approaching crisis or are in crisis. Ability to plan strategic and effective daily structured activities that give clients opportunity to work on goals stated in their individualized treatment plans. Ability to communicate effectively at various levels with clients, parents, team members, supervisors, and outside stakeholders such as school personnel, and to remain neutral, always acting as a representative for clients and their families. Strong interpersonal skills that allow one to form positive and cooperative relationships with clients and their family members. One (1) year of related experience with SED youth and/or sheltered youth residential settings preferred.

Maintenance Worker II
Position Description:
Under general supervision, is responsible for any combination of following duties on physical plant projects, usually working in a utility capacity, by transferring from one task to another where demands require varied experience and abilities to work without close supervision in repairing and maintaining buildings, equipment, and machinery.  Types of projects will include but are not limited to carpentry, electrical, basic mechanics, painting, construction, etc.  The position will also be responsible for acting as a lead and ensuring the quality and productivity standards. The position will monitor processes to maintain the timely delivery of services.  This position must be able to fully perform all the duties of the Maintenance Worker I (1) position.
Qualifications:
GED, High School diploma, or certification from a vocational school for a related area.  Minimum of three (3) full time years of working experience in the trades or performing similar duties that would have allowed for this scope in job function.  Experience writing reports on a computer.

Addiction Prevention Counselor III
Position Description:
Under general supervision, implements the Addiction Prevention Services Program at designated schools and in family settings.  Fulfills a leadership role in the collaboration and communication between the agency and assigned school. Provides highest level of prevention services to families.
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree (M.A./M.S.) in Mental Health or CAADAC ( California Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors) certification. Three (3) years experience in related field.  Strong Clinical and Counseling skills.

Clinical Director
Position Description:
Under general direction, manages multiple clinical programs.  Assures regulatory requirements are met.  Research, review and implement best practice principles.  Develops and manages program budgets, assesses opportunities for program growth and potential funding resources.  Interfaces with external community partners, agencies and county departments.
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Counseling, Psychology, or related field. Five (5) years direct clinical experience including three years experience in the area of children’s mental health. Three (3) years of clinical supervisory experience. California licensure as LCSW, LMFT, Ph.D.

Clinical Behavior Analyst
Position Description:
Working in alignment with the values and clinical philosophy of the agency, under general supervision, the Clinical Behavior Analyst is responsible for providing comprehensive behavioral assessments, clinical interventions, and coordination of therapeutic activities with the primary mental health provider for youth who are referred for Therapeutic Behavior Services. 
Qualifications:

Behavioral Specialist
Position Description:
Under the direction of the designated CPM, the Behavior Specialist I assists with projects which support the work of CPM’s, Program Supervisors, the Parent Involvement Coordinator, supporting program development and staff activities in the areas of positive behavioral intervention strategies and wraparound skills through training and coaching, as well as by providing direct service, as needed, to meet the needs of children and families.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Arts/Science (B.A./B.S.), preferred course of study in a human service field. One (1) year experience working with SED children and their families or equivalent combination of education and experience in the human services field.

Community Development Specialist
Position Description:
Under general supervision, coordinates efforts to cultivate the most benevolent forces in the community, develops and cumulates resources and makes these available to families according to their individualized needs.  These efforts are guided by principles which are strength-based, family-centered, and community-based and promote independence from the social service system.  Outcomes will be measured by quantifiable increases in natural and community supports.

Family Services Coordinator
Position Description:
The Family Services Coordinator is responsible for developing and coordinating family-centered teams to meet the individualized needs of children and families. This position is responsible for collaborating with the Facilitator II, Clinical Behavior Analyst or Clinical Program Manager in the development of an integrated plan that is responsive to individualized needs, while building on youth and family strengths. This position also involves the use of child and family team leadership that facilitates the implementation of needed services and supports. Completes all related documentation for services planned and provided. The position provides coordination of the efforts of children and their family/caregivers, the system workers, and the family’s natural support providers. This position works independently in the family’s home and a variety of community and/or treatment settings. This position works directly with children and adults.
Qualifications:
MHRS Certification eligibility; Experience-serving individuals with complex needs including SED youth/families and/or youth residential settings.  Experience with the mental health, child welfare and/or juvenile probation systems. Previous experience in a Wraparound service setting.

Associate Director (Clinical)

PositionDescription:
Under the direction of the Clinical Director, the Associate Director’s duties are to lead the quality improvement effort program wide, coordinate clinical supervision and training of clinical supervisors and program managers, provide training, and provide clinical and administrative back up for the Director. Lead the quality improvement effort program wide, with particular emphasis on streamlining and increasing the efficiency of program procedures and processes (i.e. employee review process, salary planning, balancing staffing loads, quarterly systems meetings, etc.) Coordinate clinical program support and the clinical training of supervisors.Assist the Director with programmatic tasks and projects as required (i.e. annual report and budget).Train new Clinical Managers. Position Description:
Following agency policies and protocols, ensures that the agency’s clinical records are complete and maintained according to practice guidelines. The Health Information Technician is responsible for creating the chart at admission, monitoring, collecting and processing the closed chart within a specified time frame at discharge.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required. Good verbal/written skills. Basic computer literacy skills. Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities successfully with guidance. Ability to manipulate a keyboard, mouse, and knowledge of Microsoft Windows.

Clinician I (OUTPATIENT) Hollygrove, Hollywood

 

The clinician is responsible for providing comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, risk assessment, clinical interventions, case management, and individual and family therapy in a variety of community-based environments. Documentation and maintenance of clinical records must be completed per Medi-Cal standards and regulations. Note: The Full-Service Partnerships program is an intensive treatment program designed to serve severely emotionally disturbed children between the ages of 0 -15. Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in MFT, Social Work, Marriage Family Counselor, Clinical Psychology, or a closely related field. Current enrollment or licensing of LLSW and/or LMFCC. One (1) year of supervised clinical experience with children. Licensed according to California state law (Welfare and Institutions Code section 5600.2) or become licensed within the designated time frame. Two (2) to three (3) years of clinical experience with children preferred. Preferred training in domestic violence, physical/sexual child abuse, and suicidal trauma with the competency to maintain current knowledge related to state, county, and local law. Self-defense training to react/respond to harmful and violent physical situations preferred. Preferred knowledge of local county rules and regulations from the Department of Social Services or related division. Experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities with culturally diverse populations preferred. Bilingual communication skills in another language preferred (i.e. Spanish and Vietnamese).

 

Family Finding Specialist I Hollygrove, Hollywood PART-TIME 20 hours per week

Hollygrove, a well respected children's services agency seeks a part-time temporary position for a family finding specialist.  This is an exciting opportunity to participate in an innovative approach to helping foster youth achieve permanency through family search and engagement of their extended family members and other "fictive kin".

Research has shown that foster youth who are connected to a caring, committed, loving family member fare better in all areas of their lives.  This program works closely with DCFS, the courts, CASA, attorneys, mental health providers and caregivers to engage the youth in the permanency process to learn more about their family heritage, cultural and spiritual heritage, family connections and other information vital to their development.  Through this collaboration, we are able to locate and connect youth with caring individuals who are committed to them and able to provide legal or relational permanence.  Bilingual Spanish preferred. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, 1 year working with children. Current Drivers License.
